In many jurisdictions, if the survivor is under the age of consent, sexual contact with someone over 18 years old can be considered sexual abuse, regardless of the specific age difference between the individuals involved.

It's important to note that any sexual contact without  consent is also considered sexual abuse, regardless of the age difference.
