I now have support and my secret pain is not mine alone. Understanding my ACEs score and the trauma I have endured it a first step.
I have tried numerous times to share my story. Although my story is 40+ years ago, I am just beginning find a very painful path to healing. As a male abused, abandoned and left to survive without support I think makes my story harder to relive and tell. Thank you for this safe space. Hopefully soon I can return and tell my story.
