I rented out a spare room in my place to a guy older than me and with a nice smile. I meant to do a background check but I didn't. Not long after he moved in the spare room he began making sexual remarks and we sexted a few times. It was a mistake and I knew it just after. Months later, I was being hassled by him for sex over and over, every time we passed in the apartment.. so I hid myself in my room when he was around, dodging him every chance possible. One day after I'd told him to never make advances towards me again he began stroking himself. I kept saying over and over, "I'm engaged, leave me alone!" I decided to have him taken out of my home and got a restraining order. 14 days after the order my friend and I showed for court to plea the order to be extended past the initial 14 day order. He was there and because he showed the judge sext messages between us the year before she didn't grant the restraining order. i couldn't believe it, my friends can't believe it and what's crazy is he's on probation for Domestic violence and the judge lady was clearly flirting with him during the court session. She even read the text messages between us containing sexual content out in front of the open courtroom of about 100 or more people. She did'nt even read out loud the parts where he was overly gross just one text message i sent that was not that bad. It was still so entirely demeaning.. Why would a judge be so blind and not care about my safety?
